Alexis Phipps is an fun-loving member of the team who is always helpful to teammates. She displays enthusiasm in everything she does, and is always willing to work her hardest and learn new things.

What Got You Involved in the Team?

I first started robotics to follow a friend of mine but after two meetings I fell in love with the team and robotics.

Who is Your Role Model?

My role model is my Abuela. She was born and raised in a dirt poor home in Columbia but still managed to get a degree in law from a top law school in Venezuela. The college refused to let her in because she was a woman, but she fought and got in to the school and graduated with honors.

What are Your Future Career Plans

Hopefully I'll go to college out of state (Mizzou is my goal) and pursue a career in either medicine or law.

Interests or Hobbies

I love to hike and bike but I also box and play softball.
