VEX Robotics Competition

The 2011 - 2012 VEX game was Gateway.

Peachtree Regional VEX Qualifier

Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament and Showcase

This year, the team competed in the Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament and Showcase, or GRITS, competition in the fall.

FIRST Robotics Competition

Game

Rebound Rumble was the FRC game of 2012.

Robots

The team's competition robot was called Mar Madness in honor of alumni Ryan Mar.

Field Team

Regionals

Smoky Mountain Regional

The team went to the Smoky Mountain Regional in Knoxville, Tennessee as a way to test the robot before Peachtree.

Peachtree Regional

The team then participated in the annual Peachtree Regional at the Civic Center in Suwanee, GA.

This time, the team emerged victorious with teams 2415 WiredCats and 687 The Nerd Herd to qualify for the World Championships.

World Championships

The team traveled to St. Louis for the FIRST World Championships.

Awards

The Robo Lions won both the Peachtree Regional Regional Winner and the Peachtree Regional Creativity Award.
